Turns out that our heroes did a little more sneaking around on the Death Star than we thought. Old Obi-Wan originally had a little harder time finding that tractor beam as you can see in these pictures and in the clip provided below. Keep in mind that nothing here is actually from a deleted scene. As you know, the scene of Obi-Wan at the tractor beam is most definitely in the film. These items are either alternate angles, stills taken on the set, or perhaps directly from the now famous "Lost Cut" of A NEW HOPE (an early rough assembly of the film). The video clip below is from one of the "making of" documentaries. It doesn't look like actual cut footage to me (more of a "Behind the Scenes" shot) but nonetheless, here it is for your enjoyment.
